Room Management
Room Management allows the booking and management of meeting rooms directly from Microsoft Exchange with no additional server or software requirement.
Users can either book a meeting through their Microsoft® Outlook calendar or by using a wall mounted touch sensitive screen located outside the chosen meeting room. The screen displays the current and future occupancy along with the owner of the current meeting. It also indicates the location of free rooms and allows users to report room equipment faults such as broken projectors which can then be sent automatically to facilities management for resolution.
Research from the UNWIRED Group found that whilst the majority of desks (typically 55%) in an average office are empty at any one point, ironically you can never find a meeting room when you want one. Room Management systems helps organisations to overcome this problem by managing their meeting rooms more effectively.
