We’ve brought you apps for stress-free travel – now’s the time to see if the world of ‘serious’ apps can hold its own against pen and paper solutions. Could these apps make your life easier?
Do you have any recommendations of apps for business productivity?
6. SMART Bridgit® Conferencing App
This is a free app which allows remote workers to join meetings remotely and see what’s being shown in the room on the SMART Board – all at their fingertips.
Collaborate effortlessly, highlight or annotate over content and join in on your iPad with either a WiFi or 3G network connection.
5. EchoSign (iOS)
More sophisticated than the machine you ‘sign’ to receive a parcel, this e-signature application allows you to get contracts signed quickly and legally.
You can also send, sign and manage documents which you can access through Dropbox.
4. Workshare
In an age of increasing BYOD attitudes, the fear of forgetting something important is on the rise.
Using Dropbox might be simple, but Workshare allows you to keep sensitive information confidential.
Sync files between the Workshare platform and any mobile device, and collaborate more readily with access for all collaborating parties on any device, from any location.
3. RabbleBrowser (iPad)
Make sharing links, files and anything you can store in Dropbox easier on your iPad.
With RabbleBrowser, any number of iPads in a conference or meeting room can instantly chat or share a browsing session.
The app streamlines conversations by allowing everyone to see the same things together without having to type out confusing web addresses or email attachments.
2. Tappestry
Make sense of social media. Tappestry categorises threads of information you’ve learned by topic and location, so you can retrieve that information when and where you need it.
You can then share what you’ve learned with your social networks through Facebook and Twitter.
1. StratPad
On top of being able to generate the strategy reports you need, this app tracks results with a business intelligence tool that graphs KPIs, trendlines and targets.
StratPad has spent some time as the highest-rated app of its type in the iTunes store – it syncs files, in real time, across all devices.

I talk on the phone with a lot of clients and potential clients, I use an app called TalkNotes Plus which I found on Google Play. To my knowledge, it’s the only phone app in which I can take notes about my customers and attach the notes to that customer while I am talking on the phone. All the other notes apps, do not link with the contact record.
Thanks for this Danielle! We’ll have to look into it and include it in our next list
Have you used any of the apps on this list? Got any reviews for us?
